The summer is over and we're now in fall colors. We have been quiet this summer enjoying a mild civic schedule compared to a full competitive field schedule. We did complete six parades, Racine Raider halftimes, and one-or-two other civic events. Oh ya, we can't forget about our jam session at Brewfest.  Thank you to those who came out and marched parades or cheered from the side.
We are working hard to finalize details for 2018 and planning to change colors with the new season, shhh.
We will hold Open House in December and February at Gilmore Middle School. The weekends will include section rehearsal sessions learning the 2018 production.   We'll provide details in our next issue of Syne. Or visit us on FaceBook, Instragram, or Twitter.
We can't wait to meet YOU!!!

Dear Kiltie Fans and Friends!
Chris Ferrara here

Hello my Kiltie brothers and sisters. The Kiltie Board of Directors have granted me permission to form:

The Mad Plaid “Concert Bugle corps.”

This will be a group of about 12 to 18 horn players, one set drummer and no color guard at this time. This group will parade on a flatbed truck and do standstill concerts. The music will be old kiltie music but NOT limited to it. Music stands will always be used so there is no memorization. We will rehearse twice a month and have only five or six performances a year. Rehearsals will be in Mount Pleasant WI. Village Hall.

SUMMARY - of Concert Bugle Corps:

• 12 to 18 horn players
• One set drummer
• No color Guard (at this time)
• No music memorization
• No marching - play sitting on a flatbed truck
• Relaxed uniform
• Relaxed performances
• Rehearse twice a month
• 5 or 6 gigs a year.

Come and join us and reunite with friends at our first rehearsal . . . play or watch
